I never expected cruising to completely change the way I travelled.
As someone who never particularly enjoyed flying, I originally discovered cruising while looking for a more relaxed way to see the world. My first Mediterranean cruise changed everything.
Waking up somewhere new, exploring multiple destinations and returning to the same cabin each evening felt like such an effortless way to travel. Add incredible ships, food, entertainment and that feeling of being out at sea, and I was hooked.
What started as an alternative to flying became a genuine passion for ships, cabins, destinations and discovering how different the experience can be from one cruise line to another.
Today, I combine that passion with my work as an independent travel consultant through Beyond Global Travel, while sharing my own cruise experiences, ship tours, cabin tours and travel tips through CharsAway.
